Assalamualaikum.

Baru baru ni saya mencuba recipe Walnut Cheese Brownies dari blog Resipi Citarasawan. Untuk resipi dari Kak Wan sila click di sini. Tapi hari ni saya bukan nak bercerita tentang resipi ni... Resipi ni memang sedap, dan untuk penggemar brownies di luar sana, sila lah cuba resipi ni. Sedap, memang sedap.

Hari ni saya nak bercerita tentang cheese. Mula2 tu rasa seronok sebab bahan2 semua ada. Bila saya tengok stock cream cheese dalam fridge, Ya Allah, ada tiga bungkus cheese yang dah expired. Nasib baik ada satu block cheese yang belom expire, so boleh lah saya meneruskan kerja2 membuat brownies tu.....

Saya rasa satu pembaziran terpaksa buang cheese yang dah expire tu. Jadikan ini satu pengajaran, lain kali jgn beli banyak2 dan simpan dalam fridge. Ini kena selalu check stock dalam fridge dan pantry.....

Saya pun "google" untuk check jangka hayat cheese dan beberapa dairy products. Dairy products ni jangka hayat agak pendek. Bila say checked, rupa2nya sesetengah dari cheese ni masih boleh digunakan walaupun telah melebihi "expiry date" or "best before date". 

Untuk mengetahui dengan lebih lanjut cara2 menyimpan dairy products dan mengenal pasti sama ada products tu masih selamat untuk di makan sila lawati laman web eatbydate. 

Di sini saya lampirkan jadual jangka hayat untuk beberapa jenis cheese. Walaupun cheese telah mejangkau "best before date" teteapi masih belom berubah warna, tidak berbau, tidak berkulat dan masih lembut,

Balik dari makan kuey teow goreng di Radi Corner, USJ, sampai saja di rumah, saya basuh baju. Sementara, menunggu kain baju dalam washing machine siap untuk di jemur, saya sempat menghias cupcakes.

Carrot n pineapple cupcake adalah one of my favorite. Di tambah dengan kerangupan kacang walnut dan di hias dengan cream cheese frosting... Ini ada lah salah satu dari nikmat Allah... Alhamdulillah

Hari Raya Gift

Assalamualaikum

Pada bulan Ramadhan yang lalu ada seorang kawan minta tolong buatkan her Corporate Hari Raya gift. Kami buat confirmation via WhatsApp. Gambar dan sample was sent via email and WhatsApp...Menggunakan teknologi sebaik mungkin, hehehe. My friend requested for the cake to be delivered in wooden box. 

Alhamdulillah semuanya berjalan lancar.

Ultraman

Masa anak anak kecik2 dulu selalu jugak tengok Ultraman dengan derang. Seronok tengok cerita mcm ni, ada raksaksa, habis satu bandar hancur bila raksaksa mengamuk... Then Ultraman came to the rescue... hehehe... Tak payah nak fikir susah2 nak tau apa message yg tersirat... Orang jahat mesti kalah, dan orang baik mesti menang.... Tapi penat kan jadi Ultraman ni, selalu aje raksaksa datang menyerang bumi.... Dah lah tu Ultraman tak boleh duduk lama kat bumi, paling lama 3 minit. Sebelum habis 3 minit, Ultraman kena terbang ke arah Matahari to recharge his energy... Kalau tak dia "mati"...

Zaman2 menonton Ultraman ni dah lama berlalu bagi saya... Dah tak ada masa nak tengok rancangan ini... Cuma bila balik kampung sempat lah juga tengok cerita Smurf, my favorite cartoon since college time. Masa kat college dulu, every Saturday morning menghadap TV nak tengok Smurf... Eh jauhnya melalut...

Baru2 ni Rosni, my colleague asked me to bake carrot cake for her son's birthday. She told me, her son like to watch Ultraman, so saya pun buatlah Ultraman cake... Cari Ultraman figurine, tak jumpa lah pulak... so I changed to edible photo and covered with cream cheese frosting. Ini lah cake for Rosni's son, Elmy....

I baked carrot cake before..... then last week end, I stumbled upon this recipe... Carrot and Pineapple... hrmm seems interesting.... My carrot cake recipe only need carrot and walnut.... but this new recipe require carrot, pineapple, raisin and walnut,,,,


The result??? I loved it.... Batrisyia like it... Afiqah said taste ok, but she didn't like the raisin...(She didn't eat raisin, any type of raisin....).  Aiman?? He only ate Chocolate Cake.... I brought it to the office... Habis, and the review given by my office mate was encouraging... Now, I have decided to use the new recipe instead of my previous one...

I like Red Velvet cake / cupcakes... With the striking red and top with swirl or fluffy cream cheese frosting... Oh... I am in haven... I am drooling...
