Golden Wedding Cake

This cake was ordered by Rubaiha for her friend's wedding. It is vanilla buttercake filled with buttercream and strawberry filling and covered with fondant.

Lilac and Pink Roses

Hujung bulan lepas, masa tu tengah lepak2 kat rumah my father di kampung, mata dah layu, tinggal nak tutup, tiba2 sms masuk.... "Fazy, u boleh tak buat engagement hantaran cupcake for my niece?" Lebih kurang begitulah bunyi sms from Shad.... 

Actually, Dalina (Shad's sister) requesting deco similar to my old design, cuma color lain. Instead of red and pink roses, she wanted lilac and pink roses as deco...

Actually, setiap color roses ni ada makna yang tersirat, different color different meaning... There is also meaning on the number of roses... ish, ish.... lepas ni kena berhati2 lah ye kalau nak bagi roses kat orang... Nanti kalau ada masa saya tulis tentang roses ni....

Mana2 yng belum berkahwin tu kalau terima 108 roses, kenalah fikir masak2 ya.... ia bermaksud "marry me"...

White and Red Roses for Aisya & Salahudin

Eh dah hampir seminggu tak update blog.... Gambar2 pun terperam dalam computer bertambah2. Entah kenapa semakin slow nak mengemaskini blog ni... Mungkin sebab tak sihat kot, dah hampir dua minggu batuk... Makan ubat batuk dah berbotol2 dan berjenis2, tapi sama aje... Paling teruk bila tengah meeting kat office. So sekarang ni bila meeting saya akan pilih tempat duduk yang berhampiran dengan pintu. Bila rasa nak terbatuk dan tak boleh ditahan, saya pun berlalri ke washroom. Berulangkali ke washroom, kalau tak habis semua ornag dalam meeting room tu effected... Paling kesian bila pulak ada pregnant lady dalam meeting room... ish, ish,... tak mahulah jadi orang yang spread the virus...

Walaupun tak berapa sihat, tapi saya seronok. Erda, my fb's friend (also my customer) trusted me to bake and decorate cupcakes for her sister-in-law's wedding. Cupcake for hantaran... Saya memang suka deco for wedding and hantaran especially kalau deco involve bunga...

Senang berusurusan dengan Erda.... We agreed on the design after exchanging information via smses and fb messages. Senang.... The most important, Erda nak red and white deco.... Tentang design and type of flowers, dia kata terpulang...

So ini lah hasil dari our virtual discussion, hehehe

Kenapa saya pilih red and white roses? Mesti ada sebab kan.... Semua orang tau, Red Rose is a symbol of love but did you know, if we give a bouquet of red and white roses, its means unity? Although I didn't decorate it as a bouquet of flower, tapi bila bila combine a few cupcakes nampak macam sejambak bunga mawar merah dan putih....

Chocolate O Chocolate

Dua minggu lepas saya mengikuti kursus Terokai Rahsia Ckolat @ Chef Amer's Academy... Seronok dapat belajar dengan the first Master Chocolatier di Malaysia ni. Sudah agak lama saya bercita2 belajar membuat coklat dengan Chef Amer, tapi tak kesampaian... Akhirnya saya dapat juga mengambil kelas untuk beginner ni....

Walaupun course ni di jalankan selama dua hari, tapi tidak memenatkan sebab puas. Banyak ilmu yang Chef Amer kongsikan... Di tambah dengan all the jokes by Chef, kelas penuh dengan gelak ketawa... Jadi tak lah terasa mengantuk dan penat...

Selamat Pengantin Baru Aliza & Azahan

Aliza (my niece) and Azahan wedding ceremony and reception was held last weekend at Aliza's parent house in Johor Bahru. Aliza wished to have bag cake with Nike logo as cake "hantaran" and cupcakes with heart shape cake, and the wedding theme color was turquoise. 

The cake prior to delivery to the bride house, without the deco.

Since the wedding ceremony was on Friday nite, I left Shah Alam after lunch. I praying very hard for us to reach Aliza's house before the ceremony start. Luckily, we reach there before maghrib.

 The wedding reception was held on the next day. So after "majlis pernikahan" we went to the hotel. I have to decorate the wedding cake and cupcakes. Another sleepless night for me. I choose turquoise color as the base and decorated with white flowers, and pink and violet butterflies.
